Our 2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

At Victoria Lina Springer Spaniel, our breeding ethics are anchored in comprehensive parent testing, early developmental protocols, and standing behind every puppy we bring into this world.

Written Warranty

24 Months of Full Genetic Coverage

Verified Congenital Protection

We guarantee that your Victoria Lina English Springer Spaniel puppy is in sound physical health, free of known communicable illnesses at the time of transfer, and covered against life-threatening congenital genetic defects for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the puppy's date of birth.

Covered conditions under this guarantee include severe genetic hip dysplasia (diagnosed by OFA as severely dysplastic before 24 months of age), congenital heart defects, and inherited ocular diseases (such as juvenile cataracts or PRA) that directly diminish quality of life.

72-Hour Vet Check

Buyer agrees to take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup to verify healthy transition.

Replacement Guarantee

In the rare event of an inherited life-threatening genetic condition, a replacement puppy from a future litter is provided.

Lifetime Return Policy

If at any point in the dog's lifetime you cannot keep them, we will take them back. No Victoria Lina dog will ever go to a shelter.

Comprehensive Health Clearances

Healthy puppies begin with thoroughly screened parents. We test our Sires and Dams rigorously according to the English Springer Spaniel Club of America (ESSFTA) recommendations:

Buyer Responsibilities & Maintaining Your Guarantee

A dog's long-term health depends on genetics, nutrition, exercise moderation, and preventive care. To keep the 2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee in effect, owners agree to:

  • Timely Initial Vet Exam: Have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within three (3) business days of physical receipt.
  • Proper Vaccination & Parasite Control: Maintain age-appropriate booster vaccines (DHPP, Rabies) and monthly heartworm / flea & tick prevention.
  • Healthy Weight Management: Maintain a lean, athletic body condition score (4 or 5 out of 9). Obesity places unnatural stress on developing spaniel joints.
  • Joint Protection During Growth: Avoid high-impact jumping (in and out of elevated trucks or down tall stairs) until the growth plates close at approximately 12–14 months.
  • Appropriate Spay/Neuter Timing: We recommend consulting with your vet regarding waiting until 12 to 18 months for elective sterilization to allow natural hormones to finish orthopedic bone development.
